Carvelite is Carvel's low fat soft serve. At the 6 oz small size, Vanilla Carvelite is 250 calories and 6 g fat against 350 calories and 18 g fat for regular Vanilla. That is 100 calories and two thirds of the fat removed. Mint and Coffee run the same way.
They are closer than most people expect. At 6 oz, Vanilla soft serve and Vanilla scooped are both 350 calories. The difference is in flavor choice, not format: scooped Perfectly Peach is 270 and scooped Nutella is 510, a 240 calorie spread within the same cup size.
Sorbet. A 6 oz Lemon Sorbet is 190 calories with no fat, no cholesterol and no dairy, against 350 for the same size in Vanilla. A 3 oz kids Lemon Sorbet is 100. Among the ice creams, Carvelite is the lighter route and scooped Perfectly Peach is 270 at 6 oz.
The large Sundae Dasher. The 24 oz Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Sundae Dasher is 1,620 calories, followed by Oreo Cookie at 1,580 and Carvel Crunchies at 1,510. A large 24 oz Reese's shake is 1,310. For comparison a 12 oz large soft serve cup is about 690.

Less than most people assume. A cake cone is 25 calories and a sugar cone is 50. A waffle cone or bowl is 90, and the dipped waffle cone is 170. Choosing a cake cone over a dipped waffle cone saves 145 calories before you have touched the ice cream.
