MOD Pizza Macro Calculator FAQ

MOD Pizza publishes nutrition data for all their ingredients but doesn't offer an interactive builder. This calculator lets you select your crust, sauce, cheese, meat, veggies, and finishing sauce to see the total calories, protein, carbs, and fat for your exact pizza or salad.
It varies significantly by crust and toppings. A MOD 11-inch thin crust starts at 490 calories before any toppings. The Mega thick crust starts at 980 calories. Toppings add anywhere from 0 calories (arugula, spinach) to 240 calories (mild Italian sausage) per quarter cup serving. Use the calculator to see your exact build.
The Mini 6-inch thin crust at 210 calories is the lightest option. The MOD 11-inch thin crust is 490 calories. The cauliflower crust (590 cal) and gluten-friendly crust (710 cal) are both heavier than the standard thin crust despite being alternative options.
Seasoned ground beef leads at 18g of protein per quarter cup, followed by grilled chicken at 12g. Parmesan cheese adds 10g per quarter cup — more than most meats. Building a pizza with grilled chicken, parmesan, and asiago on a Mega thick crust can push total protein past 60g.
Signature tomato sauce at 5 calories per tablespoon is the lightest. Spicy Calabrian chili tomato sauce is 10 calories. Garlic rub is 15 calories. Extra virgin olive oil is the heaviest at 120 calories per tablespoon — worth knowing before you add it.
It can be. Grilled chicken (12g protein, 70 cal) is the most efficient protein on the menu by calorie count. Adding parmesan (10g, 130 cal) and asiago (8g, 110 cal) alongside chicken on a thin crust keeps calories reasonable while pushing protein higher. The Mega thick crust base already contributes 32g of protein.
Arugula, basil, cilantro, mushrooms, romaine, and spinach all add 0 calories. Green bell peppers, jalapeños, and broccoli are 5 to 15 calories per serving. These are essentially free toppings — you can load up without meaningfully impacting your total.
Signature pizzas are complete pre-designed items listed with full nutrition for Mini, MOD, and Mega sizes. The calculator includes both — use the Signature tab to look up a named pizza, or the Build tab to customize your own and see the totals update as you go.
Values are based on MOD Pizza's official nutrition PDF. Portion sizes are per quarter cup for toppings and per tablespoon for sauces, matching MOD's published serving sizes. Actual nutrition may vary slightly by location and preparation.
