Just Salad Macro Calculator FAQ

Just Salad publishes nutrition data for all their ingredients but doesn't offer an interactive builder. This calculator lets you select your base, protein, toppings, and dressing to see the total calories, protein, carbs, and fat for your exact salad, bowl, or market plate.
It varies widely depending on your dressing and protein. A greens base with oven roasted chicken and a light dressing can come in under 250 calories. The same salad with extra virgin olive oil dressing pushes past 500. Dressing is the single biggest variable — use the calculator above to see your exact build.
Harissa chicken at 25g of protein, followed closely by oven roasted chicken at 24g. Oven roasted chicken is the more efficient choice at 130 calories for 24g — significantly leaner than braised chicken (200 cal, 21g) or crispy chicken (210 cal, 13g).
Fresh lemon and fresh lime are both 10 calories. Red wine vinegar is 5. Yogurt cucumber is 35 and miso ginger vinaigrette is 90 if you want something with more flavor. Extra virgin olive oil is the heaviest at 250 calories — dressing choice alone can swing your bowl by over 200 calories.
Just Salad sells a $1 reusable MyBowl at any location. Every time you bring it back for an in-store order, you get a free topping — most people choose avocado. It's the same amount of food as a regular order, just in a reusable container.
Relative to the other proteins, yes. Crispy chicken is 210 calories with 13g of protein. Oven roasted chicken is 130 calories with 24g of protein — nearly double the protein for fewer calories. If you're tracking macros, oven roasted is the clear choice.
Values are based on Just Salad's published nutrition data. Actual nutrition may vary slightly by location and preparation.
